One day while working at Binsy, my friend and co-worker Leslie recieves a phone call from one of the Mid-west brokers. He is calling in response to a photo that was taken and used on a brochure of a building he is representing in IL...he is unhappy with the removal of all the surrounding buildings, powerlines, houses, etc. I mean if you looked at this photo it looks NOTHING like the building or surrounding area...Little does he know that Binsy does this for every photo...clearly selling an untrue retouched product. The grass is greener, pavement cracks fixed, roof recolored...etc. etc.
Anyways on to the best part of the story. The broker asks Leslie, "are there any other backgrounds I can choose from?" She said she seriously burst out laughing and he did not appreciate it at all. I would have immediately lost it. Is this guy serious?!?! Well of course everyone in the marketing department got a kick out of it and here's the result:
