i know i know...it's been awhile.

so yeah it's now thursday and I am just recapping the weekend festivities.
friday night was AWESOME. I seriously drank wayyy too much and had a kick ass time at castle roxx and kildares. Even ran into the Philly U crew on main street! I still haven't downloaded the pics from my camera yet..soon enough my friend, soon enough.

the highlight of the weekend though...
Dinner at the Melting Pot for restaurant week. OH-MI-GOD.
I don't think I have ever eaten so much food in one sitting. I was still full the next day.
We got a really nice table with 2 burners for fondue pots, which is clutch b/c then you get 2 choices of everything!
We started off with some cheese fondue with apples, a bread smorgasboard, tortilla chips and raw veggies.
Next was a salad which was delish, I got the mushroom salad.
For the main course we had 3 choices to choose from varying from chicken and filet to lobster and scallops, tuna, etc...I had the chicken, shrimp, filet and ravioli. It comes out raw and we got oil to fry in and broth to boil our food in. There were seriously 10 different sauces to dip our food in! Also we had a ton of veggies. I thought it was pretty cool that they give you the food raw.
After that was the main event (at least I thought so) DESSERT!
At this point I thought i was going to explode literally. But of course I pigged out.
We chose milk chocolate and caramel turtle fondue. They gave us THREE plates of dipping items including cheesecake, pound cake, brownies, pineapple, strawberries, marshmallows and bananas.
All in all the meal took 3 hours to eat. But it was entertaining and a lot of fun.
I thought we were all going to get sick walking to the parking lot but it was WELL worth the inexpensive $45 we each paid compared to probably the $100+ we would have each paid if it wasn't restaurant week.
I highly recommend going here.

This week has been pretty slow here at the Bins. Happy it's almost over and looking forward to the big party on saturday night!!!
