cancer.

So I've been starting to think about my whole cancer situation a little bit more in-depth these past few days.
I realize that I don't think I ever let it really "hit me" and I also realize that I never really got and/or understood all the information about it. I also don't think I thought it was as serious as it is.
Everything happened SO fast and the fact that I was/am dealing with 4 different doctors and they are all telling me this and that. AHH.
So anyways I've been doing some online research and apparantly I missed a VERY important step in the process to treating melanoma, a PET or CT scan. These can detect the spread of cancer throughout the body internally. As of right now that's the only thing that can, other than biopsies...and I didn't have it done nor was I told to have it done!!! I'm scared to death now about this but I am calling today to demand it. . . so hopefully that all goes well and everything is A-O-K
